I have been involved in Iran's ecosystem of innovation and technology (mainly S&T Parks) since 2015. Luckily and simultaneously, I had the opportunity of being exposed to international experiences too. As Iran's Scientific counsellor in East Asia (2015-2018), I visited many countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, China, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, and Indonesia, hence, meeting many of the key role players in their innovation and technology ecosystem.

This edition of the collection explores mainly "Health" and "environmental" related issues and challenges in Iran within the scope of the social sciences. All the 14 articles in this edition are written by over 30 social scientists (See more).

زمانی که بارلو در سال 1996 اعلامیه استقلال فضای سایبری را قرائت و به دولت ها هشدار داد که «دولت های جهان صنعت! ای غولهای فرسوده گوشتالود و فولادین..... اینجا جایی برای شما قابل تصور نیست»، مشخص بود که این پایانی است بر نظم بین الملل مستقر مبتنی بر پیمان وستفالی، بانی نظام حکمرانی بر زمین، دریا، هوا و فضا. این کتاب حاوی یک مانیفست پیشنهادی برای عرصه پنجم، یعنی عرصه سایبری، از منظر حکمرانی است

من از سال 2004 در کشور مالزی بودم و تازه دو سال از شروع پروژه بین المللی سازی آموزش عالی مالزی گذشته بود. در حدود 18 سالی که در این کشور بودم، از سه جایگاه دانشجویی، روزنامه نگار، استاد دانشگاه در این کشور و بعدا نیز در مقام رایزن علمی ایران در منطقه شرق آسیا مستقر در کوالالامپور، فرایند اجرایی شدن برنامه کلان بین المللی سازی آموزش عالی مالزی را از نزدیک دیدم. در واقع تبدل شدن مالزی به هاب آموزش عالی منطقه ای در یک بازه زمانی 15 ساله تجربه زیسته من در این کشور است.
این کتاب دربردارنده بیش از یکصد مصاحبه عمیق با اساتید و پژوهشگران دانشگاه تهران در حوزه های مختلف است که به طور مشخص با پشتوانه تجارب گذشته، نگاه به آینده دارد. این مجموعه را زمانی که من در سال 1399 مدیرکل روابط عمومی دانشگاه تهران شدم و همزمان بود آستانه گذار به قرن 15 هجری- شمسی به عنوان یک پروژه هدفمند با هدف کسب ایده ها و درس آموخته هایی برای ایران در قرن جدید با همکاران خوبم در روابط عمومی دانشگاه به سرانجام رساندیم.
شاید در تاریخ ایران نتوان یک گزارش تحلیلی از شرایط فرهنگی، اجتماعی و رسانه ای کشور پیدا کرد که همانند این گزارش کارگروه اجتماعی، فرهنگی و رسانه هیات ویژه گزارش ملی سیلاب ها جامع و کامل باشد. به دو دلیل:1-بیش از یکصد تن از اندیشمندان حوزه های مختلف علوم اجتماعی و انسانی در آن نقش داشته اند و 2-در آستانه قرن 15 هجری شمسی تدوین شده و ارزیابی خوبی از شرایط کشور برای هرگونه برنامه ریزی و سیاستگذاری بدست می دهد

This book is systematically focused on the "Health" and "Environmental" issuesd in Iran. Although the issues discussed are very much central to Iran, they will strike a chord with global readers because both themes highlighted share common concerns globally.
This study diachronically investigates the trend of the “open access” in the Web of Science (WoS) category of “communication.” To evaluate the trend, data were collected from 184 categories of WoS from 1980 to 2017. A total of 87,997,893 documents were obtained, of which 95,304 (0.10%) were in the category of “communication.” In average, 4.24% of the documents in all 184 categories were open access. While in communication, it was 3.29%, which ranked communication 116 out of 184. An Open Access Index (OAI) was developed to predict the trend of open access in communication. Based on the OAI, communication needs 77 years to fully reach open access, which undeniably can be considered as “crisis in scientific publishing” in this field.Learn more.
